Move e_os.h to include/internal Including e_os.h with a path from a header file doesn't work well on certain exotic platform. It simply fails to build. Since we don't seem to be able to stop ourselves, the better move is to move e_os.h to an include directory that's part of the inclusion path given to the compiler. In OpenSSL builds, declare STACK for datatypes ... ... and only *define* them in the source files that need them. Use DEFINE_OR_DECLARE which is set appropriately for internal builds and not non-deprecated builds. Deprecate stack-of-block Better documentation Move some ASN1 struct typedefs to types.h Update ParseC to handle this. Most of all, ParseC needed to be more consistent. The handlers are "recursive", in so far that they are called again and again until they terminate, which depends entirely on what the "massager" returns. There's a comment at the beginning of ParseC that explains how that works. {Richard Levtte} Reviewed-by: Dmitry Belyavskiy <beldmit@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Tomas Mraz <tmraz@fedoraproject.org> (Merged from https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/10669)

Remove outdated DEBUG flags. Add -DBIO_DEBUG to --strict-warnings. Remove comments about outdated debugging ifdef guards. Remove md_rand ifdef guarding an assert; it doesn't seem used. Remove the conf guards in conf_api since we use OPENSSL_assert, not assert. For pkcs12 stuff put OPENSSL_ in front of the macro name. Merge TLS_DEBUG into SSL_DEBUG. Various things just turned on/off asserts, mainly for checking non-NULL arguments, which is now removed: camellia, bn_ctx, crypto/modes. Remove some old debug code, that basically just printed things to stderr: DEBUG_PRINT_UNKNOWN_CIPHERSUITES, DEBUG_ZLIB, OPENSSL_RI_DEBUG, RL_DEBUG, RSA_DEBUG, SCRYPT_DEBUG. Remove OPENSSL_SSL_DEBUG_BROKEN_PROTOCOL. Reviewed-by: Richard Levitte <levitte@openssl.org>
